Stuart Reece

(Managing Director & Technical Architect)

Stuart is responsible for Derventio Solutions operations and business growth. Prior to founding Derventio Solutions, Stuart was IT Director of InfoVision Systems Limited, a leading European software house. Stuart has over twenty years of software product experience across a diverse range of applications.

Stuart has been responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of many high profile applications. Notable examples include:

  • Siemens - development of multi-million pound asset management system used to control moving and fixed assets.
  • In-Tend - leading e-Sourcing procurement portal used by over 2,500 public sector buyers.
  • JCB - production of a comprehensive parts ordering system used by over 2000 dealerships.
  • PagePlus - involved in the development of the award winning desktop publishing application, with sales in excess of one million copies.

Stuart's skills, experience and expertise ensure that all Derventio Solutions software products are delivered to the highest standards and specifications, guaranteeing high levels of confidence and satisfaction upon delivery.

Ian Parkin

(Systems Development Manager)

Ian is one of Derventio's most experienced team members with over twenty years experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Since his arrival at Derventio Solutions, Ian continues to grow his extensive skill set adding value to the technical team.

Ian is involved heavily in the design and development of all Derventio Solutions software products. In addition to Ian's technical expertise, he also exhibits excellent communication and customer-facing skills include liasing with customers to manage support issues and gathering user requirements. Ian guarantees that software maintenance is completed to the customer's specifications and within budget.

Before joining Derventio Ian held a senior management position at SIR, the UK's leading education software house. Ian was responsible for all aspects of software development at SIR in a career spanning over twenty years. SIR have produced in excess of a hundred software applications used by the majority of schools and colleges within the UK.

Gary Theobald

(Equinox Development Manager)

Gary is primarily responsible for all software development within Derventio, across all our current product and user base. He manages and controls the day to day development of the companies software portfolio.

Prior to joining Derventio Gary ran a successful software company writing and maintaining software predominantly for the rail industry with key clients such as Siemens. Gary has been managing and developing software for over eighteen years.

Damien Roberts BSc (Hons)

(Business Development Manager)

Damien manages the hosting, maintenance and development of Derventio Solutions public sector web based e-Sourcing software, In-Tend. Supported by first class technical support and development teams he has been able to manage and successfully grow a rapidly maturing public sector contract. In-Tend is now considered to be the procurement software of choice in the Higher Education sector.

Damien has over nine years experience of the complete software development lifecycle. He possesses a plethora of skills ranging from gathering requirements and writing detailed product specifications to designing and developing desktop and web based systems using market leading cutting edge technologies. He has a wealth of experience in customer facing roles and enjoys interacting with customers and product end users.

Damien has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Staffordshire. He was awarded the Logica Prize for student placement of the year during a sandwich placement at Novell European Development Centre in Hungerford, Berkshire, UK. He is a certified member of the British Computer Society.

Andrew Martin

(In-Tend Team Leader)

Andrew has been integral to the success of the hosting, maintenance and development of Derventio Solutions public sector web based e-Sourcing software, In-Tend. Andrew has participated in the technical aspects of the software development and delivery. In-Tend is now considered to be the procurement software of choice in the Higher Education sector.

Andrew has over nine years experience with all technical aspects of software development and implementation, including prescribing solutions for the public sector utilising cutting edge architectures.

Andrew's main area of expertise includes using the Microsoft .NET toolset to deliver web based solutions to Higher Education, Further Education and Local Government sectors. Andrew continually updates his skills ensuring that he is an authority on all aspects of development within Derventio Solutions.
