C++ Software Developer

We require additional developers to work a range of applications that Derventio develop on behalf of our high profile clients. The role involves development of additional customer requirements and maintenance of existing products.

Developed in Microsoft Visual C++/MFC, this client-server application requires developers with the following skills:

• C++
• MFC
• SQL Language
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
• COM/DCOM/ADO

Web Developer

We require additional developers to work on both the existing range of .NET Web Applications and also be able to work on our new range of Educational Support products that are to be used in thousands of schools around the UK for both classroom support and whole school support.

Products are developed in the Microsoft ASP.NET Framework using Microsoft Developer Studio 2005, therefore we require developers with the following skills:

• ASP.NET 2.0 and later
• C#
• XHTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• SQL
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005

Any exposure to the Micosoft Sharepoint environment would be a benefit though not essential for these roles.
